Now you have a shiny new SSW email!

SSW enforces Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all users as part of extended security protocols.

You should have already set up MFA when you first logged in.
If you haven't set up the Microsoft Authenticator app for MFA yet, do the following:

Steps to add Authenticator app to sign-in method

The Microsoft Authenticator app is now required to be your default MFA method. If you do not set it up now, you will be forced to do so within 7 days.

  1. Go to Microsoft security info and click on 'Add sign-in method'

  1. Choose Microsoft Authenticator option

  1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app

  1. Scan the QR code with your Microsoft Authenticator application Now, send an email to your personal email to test it.

  1. Test whether https://outlook.office.com/ works at home and at the office.

Or call any SysAdmins, they will be happy to help you!

Email Groups

Note that the following exchange groups have been configured for internal communication:

  • SSWAll@ - Everyone
  • SSWDevelopers@ - All the developers
  • SSWManagement@ - The Directors and Managers (you will only send an email to these if you plan to leave, have serious company direction issues or any other issues that will affect the whole company).
  • SSW{{LOCATION}}Admin@ - The Admin and Accounts people (Location: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, China, France)
  • SSWAbsence@ - You need to send to this group if you are asking for leave (Australian offices only - see below for China and France)
  • SSWServerEvents@ - emailed to the Sys Admin and Adam who are in charge of errors and bugs with our server
  • SSW{{LOCATION}}All@ - All the people at location (Location: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, China, France)

China Office:

SSW China Absence - Hangzhou office leave requests should be sent to this address.

France Office:

SSW France Absence - France office leave requests should be sent to this address.
