At any given point in time, there will be one internal project where the majority of our efforts will be focused. A Product Champion will be allocated to oversee this product.

There is only ever 1 Product Champion at a time

In order to make sure this project has some continuance, one developer at a time is booked, with additional developers jumping on and off the project in their bench time (i.e. when not booked for client work).

The Product Champion role lasts a minimum of 3 months.

The Product Champion responsibilities include:

  • You are the last person to go on client work
  • Sometimes being a Scrum Master
Note: you will be the scribe for these and will send out all post meeting emails
  • Liaising with the Product Owner to make sure the Backlog is representative of their current priorities
  • Being the main support person for any work experience people

Product Champions are booked out against SSW for that time.
